COVID-19 & Our Promise to You.

We Take Your Safety Seriously

Life before the pandemic has become a distant memory for us at Dragonfly Therapy.  Living in a COVID world has been very difficult, but with great teamwork, dedicated employees, and faithful patients, we are persevering.

We believe the key is ADAPTATION & heart!

Since the coronavirus hit the United States, nothing has been predictable.  What was being reported as facts, later became fiction.  What would be useless to all, later became the most beneficial to keeping us and our loved ones safe.  We were, and continue to be, living in a changing world!

Measures We Have Taken For Patient Safety

But, what have we done to adapt to this new world?  100% of our physcial therapists have been vaccinated against the coronavirus. While cleaning has always been part of our daily routine, we have definitely had to step it up a bit!  Not only are we ensuring all surfaces are sanitized frequently throughout the day, we sanitize our pens and clipboards after each use, along with light switches, door handles, chairs, and equipment. Staff and patients are required to wear masks at all times and everyone entering the clinic has their temperatures taken.  Our physical therapists wear both masks and face shields to protect themselves and patients.  We are asking patients to call when they arrive at the clinic to reduce the number of people in our waiting area. Sadly, we have also removed the coffee, magazines, and newspaper from our waiting area.

We are closely following all CDC and Maine CDC recommended guidelines.

We are looking forward to a time when we can chat with our patients while they wait for their turn with their physical therapist and share stories over a warm cup of coffee.  We cannot wait to shake the hands of new patients and share a smile with one another.  Dragonfly Therapy cannot wait to get back to life as we knew it.   While all of these have become distant memories, they are happy memories and our Dragonfly Therapy family is looking forward to creating many more in the future.
